Put these notes under your hat, you might just need it!
DO's:
Test your CD before you leave the crib. Is it burnt right? (Mp3 format, data, etc.) Make sure you burn 2 copies one for yourself and one for the sound engineer.
Label your CD to avoid confusion in the engineer booth beleive me you don't wanna piss off the soundman.
Turn up early for soundcheck (first come first serve basis).
Bring a pen (for autograph purposes).
Bring your crew the more the better.
Video cam for your footage (for youtube, facebook, myspace etc.) and oh spare battery or charger.
Bring money (hey!!!)
Bring Business cards and Demo cds (for advertising purposes)
Do take a shower or bath you don't wanna smell foul now do you?
Hey I can go on but space is running out hahaha.
DO NOT's:
Do not drink they day before your gig you could loose your voice (drink after hahaha).
Do not forget to go to the toilet before you get on stage (a habit of mine!)
Do not roll solo lalo na kung may beef ka sa ibang rappers (nuff said)!
Do not write under you instrumental CD (the shinny bit) beleive me I've seen this happen before and it was very embarassing all you could hear was a cracking sound.
Do not forget to set your ALARM CLOCK if you have to travel early to get to your gig.
Do not forget to eat before you leave the crib!!!!
